Charge From the Dean
The Dean of the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences created an Internationalization of the Curriculum Task Force to develop recommendations for internationalizing the curriculum in the College. The Deans Charge was to answer three questions:
1) Should globalization be a high priority for the College?
2) How should departments, institutes, and agencies come together to focus on the internationalization of the curricula at the undergraduate and perhaps graduate level?
3) What metrics should be used to measure our progress?
Facilitated Retreats
Two facilitated retreats were conducted held. These retreats affirmed that globalization should be a priority of the College. In addition, a wealth of ideas evolved as to how the curriculum of the College might be globalized.
